Book review for Realmscapes

//Book review for Realmscapes

I enjoyed this book. It’s not in my top favorites, but it was well worth the money and the read.

Several stories whetted my appetite for that author, and now I’m going to be looking for more that they’ve written, as I’ve enjoyed their prose and subject matter. Other short stories were fun and entertaining, just because they had topics or stylistic tendencies that I don’t gravitate towards. It was refreshing to read something different, something new to me.

The anthology was well done in the collection of stories. They all had a theme (to one degree or another), of escape, and frankly, I really appreciated that theme. Nothing like escaping reality for a stretch of time to curl up with a well written book of short stories!

I do recommend this to anyone who enjoys bite-size stories of fantasy or science fiction, and who wants to have a smorgasbord of authors to pick from for future reading reference.
