Book review for Rebirth: Book one of the Reluctant Warrior Chronicles

//Book review for Rebirth: Book one of the Reluctant Warrior Chronicles

Amy Brock McNew has crafted an excellent book that I had me riveted from the opening chapter, and I just couldn’t put it down! I had no idea what to expect from it, and was constantly surprised, intrigued and excited to turn the page.

The characters are complex, each with their own secrets, their own difficult past, and seeing them collide together is riveting. The main character, Liz, is plagued with guilt from regrettable life choices and struggles to let go of the past and that guilt, to accept forgiveness and love. Battling demons with a gift that she doesn’t want doesn’t help matters any. Her story weaves faith, forgiveness, love, spiritual warfare, angels and demons into a beautiful story tapestry. Each chapter is full of intense action, powerful angels and terrifying demons. Not one moment is boring or slow!

This book is intense and has a fascinating story that will suck you in and leave you breathless for more.
